El 3 de septiembre de 2009, el Profesor Gregorio Simac García, Alcalde del Municipio de Santa Cruz La Laguna inaugura oficialmente la Biblioteca Comunitaria de Tzununá. Estuvieron presentes Ignacio Tepaz (Municipalidad de Santa Cruz la Laguna y Vicepresidente del Cocode) quien ayudó en todo el proceso de instalación de la Biblioteca, Feliz Tepaz (Alcalde Auxiliar), Paulito Cox (Director de la Escuela Rural Mixta de Tzununá), Santiago Perez (Presidente del Cocode) y varios vecinos y vecinas de Tzununá. El evento se llevó a cabo el mismo día de la inauguración de la clínica dental y gracias a los Dres. Craig and Carmen Sinkinson.
The 3 september 2009 the Mayor of Santa Cruz la Laguna Profesor Gregorio Simac García, declared oficialy inaugurated the Comunity Library. Ignacio Tepaz (Municipality of Santa Cruz La Laguna and Vicepresident of the Cocode) that helped so much for the instalation of the Library was there, as Feliz Tepaz (the Auxiliary Mayor), Paulito Cox (Principal of the School of Tzununá), Santiago Pérez (President of the Cocode). The event was held the same day of the inauguration of the Dental Clinic and thanks to Dr. Craig and Dr. Carmen Sinkinson.
